1. The very first thing that you need to do is to gather all the information about your grades, extracurricular activities, awards, shields or any other kind of certificates that you might have won in some kind of a competition. Remember that it is most important that you list everything down because even though you are not going to add all the accomplishments to the college resume, it will help you because you will not leave the important things out.

2. Search the internet and go through templates and styles that you like the best. Choose one which focuses on your academic performances and other such activities. The resources where you can find such examples is not limited, in fact you will find a large number of websites offering this kind of help.

3. Keep in mind that you are writing an educational or college resume and so your main focus of attention has to be your studies and courses. To highlight this, what you can do is to include your major area (the field you want to pursue), your last GPA and also that date on which you are accepted to graduate from high school. Always make your achievements evident as these will help you gain admission.

4. Once you are done with the task mentioned above, you should start listing your extracurricular activities. A good way to attract the reader’s attention is to begin with action verbs which show that you have done something and will also make it appear as if you performed highly. If were a leader of any event or other activities held at your school then you should surely list them.

5. In the end, you need to tell them a bit about your interests, skills and talent. You have to show the admission committee who you are and you should do so in a professional manner.
